Hey guys,
Haven't had time to get on here in a while so was just reading through and catching up.

It turns out I cannot make the Mason Dixon show after all - we have a company event that got scheduled that day and I have to be there. Not happy about it either!

I've passed out some fliers and had a couple people call me with questions. Yesterday I mailed several fliers to a guy named Wyatt who has a custom scooter and saw our flier at his son's house, wanted to register and get extras for his buddies.

It is still early for registrations I think - the frenzy will be the last couple weeks just prior to the show I am sure. If any one decides to hit any local car cruises in the near future, give me a shout. Love to join you.

Getting new tread installed all around this weekend...staying with the Hankooks but bumping the size one up wider and see how they do

that sucks. oh well gotta do the company things, the job keeps the crossfire on the road. Is it too far to go to both, or maybe stop in after the company thing? as long as you get there during show hours you can stay all evening and watch the racing.

Yeah Jason, I tried - sorry about Mason Dixon but it just doesn't work. I have to set up a show in Arlington, VA at 2PM and the event goes till 8:30PM so by the time I would get there it would be time to turn around and go home.

I'll miss it...maybe next year! Looking forward to Carlisle as a chance to get away!

So the retirement party was a blast. It was great to see everyone and help Chas enjoy his special night.

Ok official club stuff....... Who is going to the Mason-Dixon show? I want to form a group and drive up there together. We may hook up with some classic Mopar iron and arrive as one big group. so let me know where you are, if you 're going and i'll figure something out.

Wyatt, was talking about having another GTG, and see if any of the people that found the club after March get a chance to meeth the club members. So lets plan something before Carlisle..... mid June maybe. Nothing special we can either meet at a car show, cruise night, Burger King........someplace. We can talk about Carlisle plans, and any update to our car show.

Mid June sounds good for a GTG. Maybe at Burtonsville? We could meet and set a time to grab some lunch somewhere close by.

yeah i like this idea. close to Rt29 and I-95, several places to eat afterwards, and they allow the crossfires on the lot.

Ok so the show starts at 9am, I want to get there around that time so we can get set up. Dave, google maps show you taking I-70W, same as us in the middle of the state. In the past when ive met up with people going to the show, we met at the i-70/Rt-32 interchange. it's a nice wide area in the highway, and sunday morning there isnt anyone on the road. We need to leave the interchange at 8am. Dave this has you leaving your house kinda early. Let me know if this will work for everyone.

Plan B....there is a WAWA gas station a very short distance from the track. we can also meet there at 8:30 and drive into the show.

OK I'll meet at I-70/Rt-32 is it an intersection or will you all just be pulled off the road, not that familiar with I-70.

OK meet you there I'll leave my house by 7:00 A.M. looks to be about 43 miles or so to get to I-70 ramp. RT32 does not look that much further after I get onto I-70.

Glad you have recovered from the event!!

Not many places to get some chow that early in the morning, unless you want Mc D or BK. If you want I can pick up a Box o' coffee and some donuts from Dunkin.

You dont have to do that Jason. I'll find some "joe" prior to meeting up with you.

well the track has pretty good food. Pretty sure there is a Mc D and a BK close to the track. there is a WaWa very close.

I guess after 20 years of service you would be a little tired of donuts hahaha. It's getting closer, i really enjoy this event. Hopefully you guys will too.
