The Dam & Harve De Grace Cruise
OK time for another Drive this time in Harford County MD.
I'm looking to put together a scenic drive through country roads with stops at the base of the Conowingo Dam.
Then a 20 minute drive into the water town of Harve De Grace, were we can walk through the shops and have lunch at the Tidewater Grille on the water

or if your liking is more for pub food Coakley's Pub sorry they do not have a web site yet, food is typical bar food.

After lunch and shopping if people are up to it we can walk or drive over to Bomboy's homemade candy & Ice Cream before the drive home just to finish off the trip.

ill be there from 9am until 11 or 12, then ive got to take off and do other things that day, but the 8th looks open for me.

 

its almost time for me to change the oil in the cars. Wondering again if anyone wants to go in on the price of 10 mann filters from needswings. I'll keep 5 and the rest can go however. the price is $131.45 shipped to my door. ill pay $65.73 for my 5. this comes to $13.15/filter, shipping included in that price. anyone want in on this?

 

Saturdays are usually better for me however Sunday the 8th is a possible. However, if we go I'd prefer to go on the early side so maybe we can end up with Lunch at Tidewaters and then I can take the trek home. It's still an hour and a half home from there for me. So, if planning can be worked out then Sept 8th should work.

 

Eurocharged DC is having an open house 9/15. Cars, Food, discounts, and they will have football games on TVs. looks like its going to be a big deal. I'm posting into in FB, and ill post everything here as well.

 

We need a head count no later then 8/24 as to who will be at the Grand Prix GTG and the dinner after. If you can only make it to one, please go to the GTG for pictures of your car.

How many people are going to the race, and how many are getting the SRT parking?

We can get all crossfires in the SRT parking. one day pass is $160 for saturday, this gives you two tickets, parking close to the SRT paddock and the SRT hospitality center. this is usaully only available to SRT owners, except for us, all crossfires are welcome.

I am in...the 8th is great for me. I would think that whomever is going could meet up at the same park and ride we have used before and leave there by 9 am to get to wawa in time.

Friday is test and tune day, some minor racing, but the Le Mans and the INDY cars are not racing

 

I'm likely not going to be able to go to the race either. So little time....................

 

I'm in for Thursday/Caton Dockside Dinner. I'm in for the Dam/Havre de Grace GTG as well. I'm going to the race on the 30th but the SRT package is a wee bit steep right now.

 

I had to get two passes anyway, so id pay the same, and at least my car is inside the track, stop by the SRT area and say hello

Going to try and make the GTG Thursday. Time & place please. Have a house settlement on Thursday and haven't gotten the time or place yet from the Agent.
