I'm already preregistered for Moparpallooza.

 

I am already registered for moparlooza also

 

space is limited at Moparpalooza to 400 cars. last time i checked they had 200 registered and 500+ RSVP on facebook. I'll need a headcount of crossfires attending so i can let them know. please register by May1 if you have not done so already. they will set aside parking for us, but we have to be in a group. if you miss the convoy you might get stuck with Vipers or Chargers.

 

im from PA but i will be coming to the Ocean City MD Car & Truck Show on June 8&9 2013 if anyone is interested in meeting up

JR is going to the show this weekend and is looking to go to Moparpalooza. I need to try to Eric with the yellow roadster. I havn't heard from Dmitry yet, ill text him soon. I think 10 is a good number of cars to bring to the "official" events.

As you know, I'm already registered for Moparpallozza. As time draws near, we can decide on a meet-up-point closer to the events location (for those of us that live over this way). I can sugges something if you all let me know which way you'll be coming (70 and down 270 or 95 to 495)

Here's hoping you all are doing great. I look forward to attending some more of your events this year. I would also like for you to email me an application to join your club. As you know I live in Smithfield Va and would not be able to attend regular meeting but I could attend a few of your events as time provides.

I also need a few suggestions from you guys. My wife had a blow out on a rear tire the other day. I had purchased those tires less than a year ago and they were quite expensive. Im wondering if I should just replace the damaged tire with the same tire or I should look into purchasing a new pair of tires. Any suggestions on where I can get better pricing on the tires?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi John. Good to hear from you. I don't think you need an application. You can send a check to Crossfires of Maryland and address it to our treasurers address. I'll have him PM you the info. If you are a CICCI member the fee is only $5.00. If not, it's $10 dollars.

We have other events going on as well but as you know we have our club show in August again (Aug 10) at the Linganore Winery. Hope to have you come again this year.

As far as the tires, what type did you get last year? How many miles on them? If it's only a few thousand miles --- up to 10K, I'd say just get the same type and replace it instead of spending the extra on a full new rear set. When you wear the rest of them out in the future then just keep that one for a spare and buy a full matched set again.

I have orignial Michelin PS 2 sports still on mine. Given they have been good to me, even though they are expensive, I'm likely to buy them again when I put new ones on. Other brands are fine as well -- with some liking hte Hankooks ventus and others suggesting many other brands. It's a crap shoot. I will likely buy mine on line from Tire Rack or from Discount Tire Direct orsome place like that. Even with shipping and mounting / balancing charges on this end, last time I did that I still saved about $120 total. You can try to price match at a local tire dealer too showing them online pricing and see what they'll do. Let us know.

yeah we will all have to be together before we get to the show. im thinking those of us on this side will meet up at I-95 south reststop at mile marker 36. then we need another stop for those of us on that side, and in the south. Paul, i plan on gathering the Baltimore/eastern group, and driving I95 south to I495 west. so maybe we can find a place in Montgomer County, or in VA to meet up with everyone else. we have a few weeks, so id like to have all the details worked out by May 11th so i can start posting it on the FB page.

so there is a cruise sunday morning at Marley Station Mall. Dmitry mentioned it at the show last Sunday. Maryland Area Mopars will be meeting and cruising to this show Sunday morning. this is last minute and i dont expect anyone else to make it, but if you can that would be awesome. here is what they are planning

"We will meet at ****'s Sporting Goods in Glen Burnie on Ritchie Hwy at 11 to cruise together. The address is 6633 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD. We will roll out at promptly 11:30. Please be on time."

I'll be there if just to make contacts for our club and get some flyers passed out. if anyone else wants to go email, post, text, call me. Chas, its in your back yard, can you make it?
