RedCross you did an outstanding job with the Club's presentation at the Nationals. Its was a pleasure to meet you and the other XFI members. My family enjoyed viewing the other XFs. I had a blast. By the way, I applaud your dedication to the Club and your integrity. All the members in attendance would have pitched in with the tent cost but you stepped up and handled the situation w/o a word of discontent. I propose next year that all who attend chip in for the tent, and if we get a refund we can use it for a "cruise" through Carlisle towards the XF Dinner location. Thanks for your commitment Red.

P.S. My daughter and her friend think your XF is the "radest and most bangin" (their words) XF. They want me to buy a red one now. Thanks a lot.

Arrived back in FL about 3 PM today...1,823 miles round trip...30 mpg...highest speed about 100 mph on I95S in GA. What a wonderful trip and some really great folks to make it even better. I think I got a chance to speak to everyone except Bud and Stryfox (couldn't ever locate you, but did check out your cars).

JD...THANK YOU!!! ANDREW...SLEEP WITH ONE EYE ON THE FORUM!!!

I will try and get unpacked and my pictures downloaded to the computer in the next day or so. Hopefully a few will be good enough to post.

Thanks JD!
I was so happy to see so many of our group in one place!
Sorry to hear about the mishaps that kept others from joining us, hope everyone is doing better.
After such a great turn out this year, surely we can get the 20 required for a prepaid tent for next year!
Lots of great vehicles to look at.
Jim tried to talk some guy into selling his AMX, even though it wasn't for sale!
Got my 3rd place plaque in the mail this morning!
Didn't know until I looked on the Carlisle site at work yesterday!
I printed out the list and taped it up next to Red885's picture!
Thanks for all the positive info.
I need those Lambo doors!
And the illuminated sills!
And Andrew was such an inspiration on the detailing!
It was just an all around fun time talking to everyone and checking out the other cars.
Glad everyone made it home safely, thank you all for coming so far, (for me it was just down the road).
Hope to see many of you again, soon!

Sorry, we missed the group on Saturday. We were driving in as two Alabaster coupes were leaving Carlisle around 4:30 PM on Saturday. We just caught REDCROSS packing up the banners. Great job organizing the XF showing JD. We stayed around until 7:30 PM walking the show. Sunday we hung out under the tent with 2DMAXX. Great talking with you Peter. My wife is still mad because of all the mods we talked about. Nice burnout at the Grandstands at the end of the parade, too!! I bet that opened some eyes.

Next year we plan to be there early on Saturday so we can meet everyone. If anything is happening in the MD, DE, NJ or PA areas, let me know.

JD,
Looks like the wind is in the sails for the XF community to get together again. One suggestion I would make for next year is to post the NATIONALS announcement in all the "Car" categories (directing them to your home NATS thread). I'll bet we'll pick up more folks next year.

Summers looking pretty busy, but I wouldn't mind coming down your way, maybe Annapolis or there abouts sometime in August?

Later.

Andrew, I still insist they were waving at me because you were behind my car, and as low as yours is, they didn't see it until it was too late. LOL. Besides the blinding white glare that your freshly detailed car always emits makes it pretty hard to see just about anywhere. Sorry we missed you PFDeWOLF.
I am glad that we got to meet so many forum members. I was really looking forward to meeting up with Patpur, but I guess he must have had some important obligations to take care of. I want to thank JD for all the work and planning that he did, especially for (holding my keys).
I can honestly say, this is the first car show that I've ever been to that the real reason for going was to meet the people from the forum, and not show off my car, or to check out the other cars. (well I did check out the other members Crossfires).
I sure hope we can all get together at the Mopar Nationals in Columbus on the 12th of Saturday. And all of us cruise Brice Road together to show the hard core Mopar boys we do exist, and we won't be ignored.
One thing I learned on my trip was that the forum is made up of a bunch of pretty nice people. (I sorta of expected that all the time).

+Fireamx...I've talked to Patpur and we'll be hooking up Saturday...he had some personal things to do and really would have like to attend. I gave him your best wishes. Hopefully, we'll all get to hook up soon.
