All the members in attendance would have pitched in with the tent cost but you stepped up and handled the situation w/o a word of discontent. I propose next year that all who attend chip in for the tent, and if we get a refund we can use it for a "cruise" through Carlisle towards the XF Dinner location. Thanks for your commitment Red.

P.S. My daughter and her friend think your XF is the "radest and most bangin" (their words) XF. They want me to buy a red one now. Thanks a lot.
I sent you a PM...WAZZUP???

JD,
I know it's a long way off, but I really appreciated your efforts for this year's nationals and the turn out was super. Let me know if you need any help with the show for next year (time/money) I'd love to see us double our XF attendance...that would mean 32+!

Thanks again.

Dave

One thing for sure...CROSSFIREs made a show this year!!!
And we will announce cost for the "EXTRAS" up front this time.
NATS ARE ONLY 10 MONTHS AWAY!!!
Mark that 2007 Calendar NOW!!!

Definitely IN Red...would really like to have a big turnout this year. 16 showed last year...can we double that?

We all know how much work you did last year and it was greatly appreciated, but please share the load this year. There are plenty of folks willing to assist.

One thing we need to do is create a linked post in all the "car" sections in the forum...I believe some folks don't make it far enough down the site to see the regional news. This is NOT a regional event necessarily.

!

Those of you that attended last year appreciated the fact that we had a tent to protect us from Mother Nature. We had it good because the sun was not cooking us and there was no rain...BUT those of you that have been to a GTG under those conditions know how miserable it CAN BE!!!
Anyway, if a Club has a minimum of 25 members in attendance then the tent is furnished by Carlisle free of charge, based on last years attendance. Since we had only a handful the year before we didn't qualify and we ALMOST made it last year. So the only way for us to have a tent was to PAY for one. Andrew, Aschrager, aCrispy1, TSF04Coupe and I footed the bill last year, cost was $150.00. But we would have been reimbursed if we reached the 25 mark and that also would have guaranteed us a free tent THIS year.
Since we didn't make that number (although for a while it looked like we would) there will be no FREE TENT and if we want a tent this year we will have to pay again.
SOOOooo...
I have paid for the tent, so we will have shelter.
Any contributions will be appreciated and can be sent to my PAYPAL address jc.pg@verizon.net. If you don't have a PAYPAL account email me at the same address and I will give you my home address.
Remember to put XFI-CROSSFIRE INTERNATIONAL in the CLUB portion of your registration if you Pre-Register or do it at the Gate.
Thank you, in advance.
If you have not, check the Carlisle site and see what you will be a part of by attending!!
