Ahh, REDCROSS!! You haven't been active in the forum lately...now I know why! Just to make things clear, does this mean your coming with us on the 21st?
Not this time, but don't forget about us.
Oh Yes, Al our boat seats 10...max 1800 lbs. NOT 10 300 pounders.
Maybe I should set up a XF GTG to go on a boat ride...Anyone interested.

I just want to let you guys know that some exotic cars may join us. The key is the word MAY. I don't know if it would happen, but there is a chance. Would this be okay with everyone here?
Just got back from vacation and tried to book the 20th at the Sheraton but they were full. We are staying down the road at the Holiday Inn Suffern but will drive over to the Sheraton for 10:30.

A little update: My friend and I took a drive along the proposed route...WOW is it fun!!! In some sections, it is boring because of the lack of twisties, but in other sections, the roads are set-up perfectly for good-handling sports cars like ours!! Now, I have changed the restaurant of choice. Instead of going to Cosimo's, I suggest going to Prima pizza (www.pizzaofnewyork.com) because of it's excellent pizza, lower price, more casual eating area (it's not really a restaurant, just an ordinary pizzeria place with extraordinary pizza), and more convenient access from our proposed route. I can't wait for Sunday! The forecast calls for a chance of thunderstorms, but let's just hope it arrives late in the day (today my friend and I drove mostly in the rain, but still, it was great fun). We had so much fun that we went up and down Bear Mountain Bridge Road 4 times!
Can't wait to see all of you there!!!

Just to add some organization, I would like to establish an exact meeting point within the Sheraton Crossroads:
Upon entering the exit for the Sheraton Crossroads, you will end-up at a one-way circle. Follow the one-way path by making a right. Following the circle, look for a sign on the left (slightly after the actual hotel) for "customer parking" and just park away from "other" cars. Hopefully I can get there before all of you, but, in worse case scenario, just drive around in circles around the hotel until you see another Crossfire. If anyone sees a Sapphire Silver Blue coupe driving around with no front license plate, you know it is me.

Well folks, the day is over and I hope that you all enjoyed the drive. Sorry for the excessively long trip to the pizza place, though. How did everyone like the food there? It seems that everyone was too busy enjoying conversation that they forgot about commenting on the food! Any thoughts, comments, suggestions for next time around? I just want to thank everyone for coming, including the couples under the names of Rayf, THEgrandWazoo, Aschrager, Mouserider, and dap3954. I really had a great time. It was a great way of kicking off my 4 years in college!
Hope to see all who attended and many more from the Crossfire community at future events,

For those who were present when I was talking about my Crossfire nearly blowing up, all because of the dealer, the whole story, including pictures, can be seen in the following thread...

For Rayf and Aschrager: Thanks for the comments!
