Would anyone like to join me for a drive through the Hudson Valley? We would be taking the same route as posted before...but hopefully more Crossfires will show-up. I am planning for Saturday, August 20th, or Sunday, August 21st. Again, we will meet-up at the Sheraton Crossroads and from there we will go up to Bear Mt., shoot some pics, and then have lunch, maybe at a nice restaurant I now know how to get to from our route (on the last meet, I tried to get to this restaurant, but I forgot how to get there)! After, we could all go to Woodbury Commons and shop, and then go home! This would be great for me, because I would be leaving for college on the 24th (James Madison University), and it would be a great way of ending my summer.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I've done most of the upper reaches of the tour and it's a great ride. Until the wife gets a job, however, I can't be taking any day-trips... Have a great time!

 

I think I can make it. Enjoyed it last time. This time we should say rain or shine.

That way people like JD that have to make a lot of plans ahead of time won't have think it might be canceled.

Maybe NJspeed will make it. I haven't seen any post from him in a long time.

Saturday or Sunday is good for me.

I'm up for it but I'm not sure of my schedule atm. I'm off on vacation but when I get back on the 10th, I should know my availability and will post, if others are still interested.

Now, all we have to do is pick an actual day...the 20th or 21st. I prefer the 20th.

 

Because I'm not locked in I don't want you to decide on a date based on me but I would prefer the 21st because I'd probably drive there late on Saturday, stay over at the Sheraton and be ready to roll on Sunday morning.
I will try to make it either day you select.

no problem for me, and a good reason to make it Sunday...so to make it official, the meet will take place on the 21st of august. We should meet-up at 10:30am.

 

The 21st is good for me also. I know there are more of you out there. Just let us know if you can make it. Or when you can.

 

As far as it stands now the 21st is good for me. It would be great to meet other Crossfire people. Not to many around.

The route we will take will be similar to the 100 mile Hudson River Run...our starting point will be different.

I bet Barbados would look even better with your X-FIRE there too.
