Default Such a thing?

Is there differnt clubs acroos America called "Crossfires of America - ??? Editions? " Like the Rockey Mountain group meeting in Denver, is there others in the USA? Seems this forum has a stable group of CICCI, but not really into local or regional groups. Am I wrong on this?

The reason I am asking I would love to put on a regional "Fun Rally" (no speeding) here in the Northwest. I figure this is the site to get a message out if we had one. Is the site more for "Lookie Loos" rather than CICCI memembers?

I love driving and If I was not going to be working I would love to go to Denver. How would I find a local Northwest group? If there is none can we start one here in the Northwest, would you be interested in it from WA_AK_OR_ID_MT.???

any thoughts on this?

Hey brother I do not think that there is a More organized Group of crossfire lovers in the USA, I do know that in Germany and The UK there are many such Locals. I Know that You are aware of Our local here in the pacific northwest but Interest seems to have Flagged right after We started it up.I see that Gdrag still posts in the Main forum but never here, I have considered PMing the members of Local NW To try to rouse them from Their slumber. But even when We talked Here more often They never seemed to show much interest in GTG's

I saw that You will be in the seattle area this fourth. I have My entire Family coming to town. We will be headding to Cle Elum for the 2nd and 3rd the fourth is stilll up in the Air. What's Your Schedule look like?

Lot's of GTG ops throughout the country. Interest likely ebs and flows but that's mostly because people are busy and coordination is tough. Of the ones I have met, all great people and all willing to try to GTG. Hope your area comes to life.

Crossfires Across America is the annual national get together (2nd one, the first was in St. Louis last year). The Edition part is the location of the get together. CICCI is an International Crossfire Club with dues. This that we are on now is a Forum not a club of like minded individuals that love their cars.

I am a memeber of the CICCI already, and will n ot be able to go to Denver this year. I heard that next year it is in North Carolina, which is alot of miles with the roadster and will have to think about that. I have never a concern about paying dues as long as they are used for the memebers.

Still looking for a Northwest Chapter to get together. any thoughts?

Kj....the forum, is what it is....just a place to share info about the cars and such...CICCI, is a dues paying club, which you are now a member of...spend some time on the website, plenty of discounts to members, with all the vendors there...CICCI helps sponsor some of our get togethers, Valk, can tell you more about that...As for you wanting to start a meet out west, you should get to know some of the members out your way...PM MikeR....Mike knows most out your way...but, I have to tell ya...you aren't going to find too many close to you...I travel 600 miles one way to meets, as we don't have that many local meets here in INDIANA, although there are many XF's ....busy lives around here, hard to get them together...I am afraid the Colorado meet will be as near a large group will get for awhile. I don't know where you heard the next one is going to be in the Carolina's...haven't heard that one...good luck

KJ,
If you want to set up something in Idaho, I would love to visit that part of the country.

KJ....I would love to drive out that way as well...this year, the seed industry, with all the weather, has just not allowed me to plan a trip to Colorado...and I know I will regret not making this trip...but just too busy this year...but....next year, with a little better weather, we might be able to get away...

Thanks for the Info and yes would love to get together with any member that would love to come to Idaho, to see high desset, the city of trees, warm friendly folks, great resturants, rural, and city (250,000) and long drives up in the mountains. We are only 10.5 hours away from the ocean, for those who want to see a sea. Does not get dark here till about 10:15 each night so plenty of small drives are awaiting. Love to have anyone who loves to drive and enjoy.

When You are considering this trip Give Me a shout perhaps we can make it there as well. Perhaps a Yellowstone crossfire trip? or the grand canyon. I have to chose up in December for vacation time.

And KJ I am always Here in Snohomish county a mere 30 minutes from Issaquah. though I leave for Cle Elum round noon tomorrow.
