Man, did I luck out!!!
We turned in my wife's 2002 Four Runner when we bought our new Nissan pickup. The leasing company kept calling and asking if we wanted to buy it and I said I was willing to negotiate, but they stuck to their insanely high price, so we booked...
Since we had 45,000 miles on the original tires, and we made the deal on the new truck so quick, I didn't replace them, nor did I fix the broken mirror, or the two holes in the door panels where my wife slammed the door on the seat belt harness and they poked holes into them... I figured I'd be slammed with fees and charges from the lease company. but - no. Just the $300 turn-in fee which I had known about. All in all a very lucky day yesterday!
phew!!!
