The Michigan chapter of the Citroen Owners Club had an UNICEF sponsored car at their weekend meeting. This special guest is driving around the world in a converted 1971 Citroen DS ambulance, The car and its sole driver have been on the road for 18 months. So far he has travelled thru Europe, Asia and he is just starting his North American leg before heading to South America and across to Africa before returning to Europe. The driver has to collect handprints from a child from each country visited. At the end of the world tour, the hood of the car with all of the children handprints will be auctioned by Unicef.
