My '82 Firebird is on its way back
'82 was a good year, i bought my first house got married, bought my first new car (Firebird) and turned 21.
25 years later sold my 1st house but kept my wife and car.
This car has been off the road for 9 years, kept it outside covered i would start it every so often and move it but did nothing else it starts with no problem, i did have to give it a jump.
I just clayed used a cleaner and wax, i think its about time i got it on the road again, we are celebrating our 25th anniversary in july she wants to drive to our party in the Firebird, no Crossfire.
I'm posting some pics, what do you guys think does it look ok for a 25 year old car that hasn't been used or cleaned for 9 years till today.

Wow. A firebird with RWL (Raised White Letter) radials and "Louvers". Brings back memories... Where is Kitt or Kidd?? I graduated HS in '82. No way I could afford one of those back then. However, I did have a 1968 Firebird ragtop 350 with 2 spd powerglide that leaked all over the place when it rains. But in sunny day, it was lots of fun.
Congrats Acrispy1 for 25 years of marriage and a cool car. How many miles are on your bird?

Memories . . . in the corner . . . oh never mind.
Reminds me of my buddy's '82 Camaro - same color.
He dropped a 6.6 400 in it.
Good times.
Crank up the Styx!

i personally had an '82 mustang gt ... loved that car.
anyway... now ot above... happy anniversary!!!
Congratulations on your silver anniversary. You must of married pretty young. Not too many at that age survive a marriage. 25 years is a long time. My silver is next year.
I love the car. I think it looks great for it's age, and the fact you didn't do anything for such a long time.
Enjoy.

The car looks great, and congrats on your 25th.
Like FP, our 25th. is next year too.
25 years with the same woman, I can relate too.
But 25 years with the same car, now THAT'S loyalty.
