I agree...those new "black series" are pretty sweet!

The only thing I don't like is the rear bumper...it looks too "tuner-ish" to me, with the flare on it.

 

Those are so mean. Love it.

 

Very Nice, but it needs to be Black... and it's not worth the money. I'd buy a Ferrari or Bentley GTC before that.

 

Nice to see them showing up on the streets - it's an amazing car.

A few months ago at a Meguiar's open garage session I saw a silver MB roll up and my jaw dropped. Everybody around me thought I was silly for being in awe of a little CLK but they had no clue what we were all looking at: a genuine CLK DTM AMG!!! Talk about a race car for the streets, and since they technically are not road legal in the USA the guy had a special temporary sticker from the DMV. I never did find out how he got it or what he planned to do with it, whether he was a dealer/importer/whatever. Amazing car though!!

Saw one last week at our Mercedes dealer up in Hunt Valley Maryland. I choked when I saw the sticker...$203,000 and the car was sitting outside not even in the showroom?

they list for $130,000 ish ... the dealer must have pulled one of those "lack of availability" mark-ups.

i know ... only 350 produced for the US. but regardless... that is an absurd increase.

 

Pat that's crazy... Euro Motor Cars in Germantown had one at list and sold it in 3 days. Remind me not to go to your MB dealer.

 

They even let me sit in it and start her up... talk about an angry bear!
