Audi R8 spotted
Saw an R8 on hte road today on my way home from work. It was a Machine Grey with the light grey rear-quarter thingy. Very noticeable since all the new 08 Audis have the LED running lamps near where the turn signals are. Also saw an S5 at a stop light about a month ago.
It was going Northbound when I was going Southbound. Wish I had a camera on me and driving in the same direction but I got a quick glance of it and it was a pretty sweet looking car to see in person

im starting to not be able to decide on an R8 or a Vantage (hypothetically speaking of course) ...
realistically though, i was looking into an S5 when it was introduced, but never went through with it.
theyre beauties... all three of them

I love the look of the R8. Just a dream for now but anyone interested in it should go to this link...

...they did a comparo on the Vantage, R8, and 911 turbo and guess who won?
Great looking car.

I got to drive the R8 and RS6 around Sears Point in northern California about six months ago and the R8 was really easy to drive and very forgiving when driven at 7/10th of it's full potential. I don't know if Audi still offers The Audi Experience but for $600 you get to drive all the Audi models around cones in the parking lot. There were Audi TTs and A8s and even their Q7(?) SUV. Then the highlight of the day is you get to drive both the RS6 and R8 on the track following an instructor at speeds up to 130 on the straights and the slowest was a hairpin taken at 60mph. Three laps each per car driving but there are two drivers per car so you get to ride as a passenger too.
