What MB year/models use this engine and whats the power output? How much are the tuners getting out of them?

 

The C32 and SLK32 are V6s. They produce around 360 hp and were made from 2001-2003 i believe. I might be off a year.

Im sorry, i think my original post is confusing. Im asking about the s/c V8 not the V6.

Just wondering what yr/models contains the s/c V8 and what kind of power those guys are making.

 

The E55 AMG s/c V8 stock is 469hp and there is a 5.5L that has 510hp I think it's in the SL model.

 

all the 5.5 S/C models are making between 469-493hp..of course a lot of people think that is underated. What makes these cars so fast is the amount of torque they are putting out. An 03' and up E55 is putting out 516 ft-lbs of torque. The new naturally aspirated 63 (6.2L) is putting out 502-510hp. The torque is a little less but the high end HP makes up for the low end on the supercharged motors.

To answer your question about models/yrs. The 03' and up CL, CLS, E, S and SL have the 5.5 S/C. The C, CLK and SLK had a non S/C 5.5. I am looking at trying to get into an E55 or a C63..in the next year. They are not cheap.
