they roll around here all the time, i see a car in black camoflauge once a week on the freeways around detroit
I was fishing in the Keys this week with a friend that has had one on order for over a year. His will be in soon. Orange and loaded with about every option... This will be his first Chrysler product. He needed to make a run up to the Ft. Laurderdale airport so I told him to take my Crossfire. He was happy with the ride and quality. He was only able to get it up to 100mph once.
On the way down, about mile marker 200, I was able to take it up to 130 with ease. I didn't want to do much more not knowing who or what was around the corner...

The "base" Challenger this year has a 6.1L Hemi with 425hp................that's all I'm gonna say. lol
I saw two Challengers last Friday in Palmdale, CA; a black R/T and an orange & black SRT8. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera with me. Very nice looking cars.

Let's see 425hp/4000lbs that's 9.4 to 1 power to weight
Crossfire Coupe 215/3060 that's 14.3 to 1
I'd put my money on the Challenger !
Just my Dos Centavos !

It's true that initially the Challenger is only being offered with the 425 horse hemi, but soon thereafter the "base" will be a 250 horse 3.5 V6 and will still weigh nearly 4,000 lbs. A n/a Crossfire will be able to handle one of those quite handily.

Im not to worried I think the SRT6 can take them, especially with a pulley and intake under the hood. If you just do a rough number of 330hp to be on the low side, thats 9.2 to 1

My money is still on the Challenger ! 425 bhp (318 kW) @ 6000 rpm, (69.8 bhp/L)
420 lb.-ft. (569 N•m) @ 4800 rpm
Even against an SRT-6
Just my Dos Centavos !
