The new Tata - XF
I've been a jag fan for years (owned 7) but seeing this in person from the side or rear, it looks like a toyota! or saturn, buick, nissan they all have the same profile now.
Well, the XF has an interesting looking interior that's for sure.
But will all the little toys on the inside make it a better seller than the BMW 535i, Lexus GS450, Infiniti M45, or the Merc E-series?
I don't know, but they have an uphill battle of them.
By the way, those headlights are straight off the Chevy Monte Carlo. I have to wonder a bit.

Tata is actually a huge indian company. They own car manufacturers, appliances, as well as subsidiary companies.
A few months ago we did some testing for Tata motors, the steel used on their cars needed to be checked out for weld lobes and endurance testing. It failed miserably. When we asked for chemistry's they gave us a real hard time, not uncommon for proprietary information, but they were unusually diffucult. They finally sent it to us.....Carbon was through the roof on their structural steels. May not seem like a big deal.....but high carbon content has a way of making welds look good and fail miserably. Not something you want happening to the structure of your car. We found enough things wrong with the steel alone........there's no way on god's green earth I'd ever own a car made by Tata motors.
