DragonMead anyone?
Bummer...sorry guys, it's currently sitting in it's "coccoon" just outside Gladwin. I took the day off and got a little drive in...I put a little over 500 miles on it already!
I really want to keep it under 1,000. Irregardless of what everyone says, I'm pretty confident that it'll be worth a good sum of cash many years from now. Funny thing, I had my buddy follow me in my Crossfire so I had a way back down...The ***** had the audacity to try to pass me on I-75 right at the East Pinconning exit! Suffice it to say...the NA Crossfire has NOTHING for the SRT-8!
What really bums me out is no sooner did I get home and have my Crossfire exhaust dropped, when a buddy called and let me know that the Chrysler facility in Centerline is having a car show on Sunday!
Maybe we can have a GTG there? I suppose I should post that in the "Michigan GTG" thread.
Either way, I'm busy tomorrow morning and afternoon, but free after that...we should do something.

After a little more time with it, I've made a few observations.
1. I REALLY like the keyless ignition. Just unlock the doors and throw the keyfob in your pocket, jump in, push the brake pedal and tap the starter button.
2. The carbon fiber stripe theme that carries over into the interior looks way better than I thought it would, as does the silver color. Remember, I tried to option the car in what I speculated would be the rarest combination. (long term investment/resale value). Now I think the carbon over silver might be a huge seller.
3. Much like the release of the original viper, you are constantly surrounded by a moving traffic jam. Everyone in front of you is slowing down to get a better look, behind you is speeding up to get a better look, and the guy beside you is staring sideways, making you wonder if he's EVER going to look forward again.
4. The rear tires are surprisingly narrow. When I parked it in the garage next to the Crossfire, visually, the Crossfire F1 A/S tires look noticably wider. BTW...they break loose fairly easily with the TC system off.
5. Why, why, why can't the TC button in the Crossfire work like the one in the Challenger...when you turn it off...IT'S ALL OFF! (scared the s**t outta me when I exited a corner with a little authority!)
6. The sound is awesome! A good american V8 rumble when you're driving conservatively,
, but everyone around knows when you put your foot down on the gas!
Oh well...I guess that's it for now, I really don't want to be here right now (work), but I guess I could use the money!

I also have a full press kit from the formal introduction to the automotive press.
I couldn't let it sit for very long without driving it. Very cool apkano.
I agree there's something about a V8 sound...
This is a great time of year to take ownership. Congrats!
