I had a buddy of mine tell me that he likes the way my car looks, even more than he likes his own S2000. He said my car was a little piece of art deco.
I swear it felt a little faster after that. Perhaps the car was radiating good feelings.

One of the things i've noticed since starting this thread is that most of the cars listed pay as much emphasis to the rear of the car as to the front. All too often the rear of the vehicle seems to be an after thought, especially today. I thought the new Chrysler 300 was beautiful, but they gave up on the back end. Then along came the Challenger! This is the first thing that drew me to the Crossfire. It has one of the best rear ends on the road. Great design generates contraversy. Many of the cars here you either love or hate, no middle ground. I remember this happening when the 71 / 72 Riv came out.
With the exception of the BAT, I tried to keep my choices to cars that were mass produced and that most people could afford. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The Camry is one of the best selling cars ever, but It ain't gonna make this thread. It's uninspired and boring. (Unless Downwardspiral can find one with a wing!)
I know everyone has a personal favorite, so lets see it!

I always liked the '34 Chrysler Airflow

And the Jag SS100

And as for modern, this thing is purdy. ME412

I love late model '30s and early to mid '40s style cars and there are some fine examples here but let me show you my absolute dream car which is infinitely more modern
