after seeing the thread about "Smartifying" normal cars, I had to wonder how many USA folks know about the Smart Roadster? I'm sure the European members are very much familiar with them though! I attach a pic of mine....more in my gallery.
what do you think of the styling?
I can tell you they're a blast to drive...Top Gears '05 fun car of the year...discontinued coz they leak though...

I love that car. I wanted my parents to get one but they don't sell them in the U.S. I really wish they did though.

 

The one in that vid is the Biturbo.
It was never actually put into production...I believe they did up 12 or 14 of them.

 

I drove one a few years ago and while I LOVED the looks - the gear shift was just the pits and I really couldn't have lived with it

 

depends on the year. I have one of the later ones...they sped the shift up a lot.
