I am sure the ravages of time took a toll on the Bel-air, causing it to fold as it did.

But the fact is, the passengers back then were just sitting on a vinyl sofa, waiting to get

launched in the cavernous interior of 5000lbs of steel.

Not a pretty outcome.

It's too bad they destroyed a perfectly good classic car to show the engineering advancements of the past 50 years.

yea, if it has to be a older car,, glad it was a chevym and not a AMC this time.
