Finally done for this phase. Next year totally new paint job in Aquarius Blue, and 60's bumpers...

Final restoration complete. the Bug was completely taken apart, fixed metal that needed repairs, painted and put back together, plus a (new to me) rebuilt engine.

Now THAT IS A CLASSIC! Truly a genius design for its time. Thanks for keeping it alive. Is there anyone over 50 years old that doesn't have fond memories of a Bug? Buddy Hackett, dune buggies, hippies, college.....the list goes on.
