Default Chrysler 'cuda

I've seen a few after market conversions of the current Challenger to mimic the 'cuda of old but now Chrysler admits they are toying with the idea of making a Chrysler 'cuda themselves.

There is a 2010 Cuda convertible conversion here in Lafayette, I've seen it at a car show. It is very well done by a name shop, but I can't remember the shop's name.

It seems like only yesterday I was having a similiar discussion with a fellow forum member about creating something like this.

I just read that from your link, interesting. Time flies by doesn't it? I don't know if the numbers would support a stand alone Cuda model, but maybe. The conversion that I saw was for both cuda and convertible and I''m sure it cost bunches to do but it wsn't that much different on first sight from the Challenger that it once was. I would think that the factory could change the front and rear bumper covers and the grill, slam a hemi in it and call it a Cuda for not to much.

With the popularity of the new Challenger, a Chrysler 'cuda version would be a good way to get more traffic into the Chrysler show rooms.

Took this pic at SEMA this past week.

Here is the company that does them. Seen the camaro too. They all look top notch.
