Post Chrysler Atlantic ripoff?

Someone in Oz is making one heckuva throwback ride.

Not sure whether it's a kit car (according to the home page metadata tag) or not.

The maker is based near Melbourne.

Have any Down Under members seen it in the flesh (or fibreglass)?

It does look a lot like the Chrysler Atlantic Concept, which itself was inspired by the Bugatti Atlantic and other French cars. This isn't as good looking as the Chrysler but mainly because of the front lights and rear bumpers. Yet another concept that Chrysler should have built when they had the chance.

Beautiful car, of classic design. engine looks like an old Jag 6. car looks like a cross of Jag and Bugatti. If they are building it, I wonder if it could pass US DOT requirements?Great look.

They could do what Noble Cars did before selling NA distribution rights to Roisson ... send in body shells and have "the customer" have a suitable power plant installed.

I did find someone in New Jersey tinkering around with somewhat similar ideas but not nearly as focused, though

Interesting design exercise but the proportions are waaaaay off for me. Too exaggerated. Maybe that's what the guy is going for but IMHO the difference between a classic design and a weird car is in the proportions.
