Infiniti MUST build this...

Agreed. A wonderful incorporation of the brand's "swoopiness" seen in the newer M's and G's...
Plus, Infiniti desparately needs a halo car. The G37 and it's high 13-second 1/4 mile times simply don't cut it. A more luxurious GT-R wouldn't make sense either, because the LAST thing the GT-R needs is more weight and there really isn't much you can add to the GT-R that it doesn't already have, in terms of creature comforts.

It also reminds me of an older super car... I just can not quite place what one keeps coming to mind.
Agreed on the GT-R it is really just a perfectly blended car. It is high on my list of next car to purchase and has been for about a year. Just have to see how the economy goes and see how much money is left after shipping the wife off to Tulane for her graduate degree... Hmm maybe I will make it her graduation present haha.

Let me know if you decide to take the plunge on one, I can point you in the direction of a good GT-R certified dealer to work with.
I will give you a heads up man! It is one of those purchases that I think could end my marriage... but maybe not... It is all about how much she enjoys the test drive. Then I get the questions I always get, "Why do we need it again?"
