We just returned from the New York international auto show to see the reveal of the 2013 SRT Viper. We were invited by driveSRT.com for the event. This was a fantastic event and I am very glad we took them up on their offer to join them for this, thank you SRT | Street & Racing Technology | High Performance for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge | driveSRT ! I also enjoyed hanging out with Chas (Ichon) and his wife who made it out on their anniversary, congratulations to them.

I still need to pull the videos off of the goPro and upload them, but here are the cell phone pics I took yesterday.

Yesterday was the media day at the auto show when several car manufacturers were unveiling their new vehicles. The swarm of about 1000 journalists were moving throughout the venue from one manufacturer to the next as they all took turns unveiling the new rides. Once the Viper was unveiled at noon a large majority of the journalists stayed at the SRT Viper display for several hours taking pictures and doing interviews about the car. Bummer for the next car company in line after the Viper to do their new model reveal as most of the journalists did not make it over there, lol.

SRT | Street & Racing Technology | High Performance for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge | driveSRT now has details, pictures and videos up on their website. Although there is nothing like feeling the car starting up in person and feeling the ground shake.

We ended up sitting in the second row center stage for the presentation and then got to speak with the engineers on the program afterwards. Again a huge thank you to SRT | Street & Racing Technology | High Performance for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge | driveSRT for all of their hospitality!

Last night we were also invited to the Viper gala where we saw the original renderings, speed form sculptings, both of the new vipers, the old LeMans winning car, their concept car from 1989, and hung out with the four new Viper race drivers (all great people).

Enjoy the cell phone pictures and I will work on the goPro videos tomorrow after shipping out pending orders. It was tough being away from the day-to-day work here and I will surely be paying for it over the next few days trying to catch up on e-mails so please bear with me.

Sorry I missed seeing you there but like you said it was really a crowd magnet. I had a hard time getting off the stage after they let everyone up for photos.
SRT has done a fantastic job on the interior of the beast.
