For those that are into Jeeps, here's what a full interior Jeep did this past weekend. He'll likely be in the 8's by Fall.

 

I've only been down that strip about 100 times Just never that fast.
Ouaker City Drag Strip, Salem, Ohio.

 

Your car will hold much longer. Ask a lady is BIG & FAST or SEXY & ENDURANCE better?

 

Well, it's lasted 42 years without breaking, so I guess it can be fast and have endurance too.

 

Have you had your xf for 42 yrs?
I am just saying, those overly modded cars will not last. 8/10 supras, tuned golfs, skylines, etc all break down due to transmission or whatever.

 

Anyone with the $$$ to build a nearly 8-second JEEP (!!!) is clearly not worried about reliability, or $$$.

I think it's absolutely fantastic. You would never be late for a soccer game, ever.

 

That Jeep isn't likely overly modded. Modded, yes, but not to any extreme.

 

Imagine the petrol account needed for that bugger. Our petrol cost about 3 times more than yours!

 

Sometimes it feel like I have since my Crossfire reminds me so much of my old AMX.
But I fully agree with ya, when you start modding them to the Max for performance, don't expect them to last forever.
That's one of the reasons I usually keep most of my cars mechanically stock.

I was at a good friends house Sunday for dinner, and his boss was there too. He was driving the "Package" your style motor comes in.
Pretty impressive "Package".
