Does seem as if there's likely a good supply of wheel to fit our cars then....
Theirs (Golf, Rabbit, GTI) have ~ 45 offsets. Ours push the wheels out and they need no, or smaller spacers.
I must admit that spacers is a dirty word for me
Well, I'd prefer not using them if I could afford the price of properly offset wheels.
But, I'm a cheap bugger and used them. I'm really very careful when I must R&R the wheels and inspect all components. Bolts, tires, spacers and contact surfaces etc.
