Anyone challenge a Honda S2000?

You can pick up 5 quarts at Wally world for $16. I forgot that the Xfire is going to need a little more fluid than the SRT does. You might have $40 in oil and $15 in labor/filter, but that's far shy of $100.
As far as EVOs go, I love them as well. But like you guys said, they aren't everyday drivers.
Also, I believe that comparing the Xfire to Z / S2K / RX8 is stupid as well. First of all, they are not luxury sport tourers, like the Xfire is. They are true sports cars, i.e. none of the bells and whistles plus a harsh ride. A more fair comparison would be to the Audi TT, BMW Z4, and G35. When up against these cars the Xfire holds its own. It has better numbers than all of them except the G35, which is a drivers race. I have no regrets of the purchase I made and would do it again in a heartbeat. The Xfire is my dream car...
Bullseye,
Yes, the '03 Cobras are SICK! I've seen lightly modded ones in the 12s, that is just plain pure American muscle.

But the audi TT 225, Z4 3.0 and G35 coupe all have better acceleration and either match or beat the XF in the other departments. The crossfire would be more along the lines of the Z4 2.5 and TT 180. And the crossfire doesn't exactly ride like a Cadillac, a short wheel base and huge wheels and hard rubber make for a pretty choppy ride.

I've raced a S2000 on 4 occasions and they have never spanked me. Either I beat them (until I backed off due to road conditions) or we stayed neck and neck. I'm aware that the Honda is the faster car but I don't think most of their drivers no how to extract all that potential. Plus it sounds like there cars are about to explode! They are great cars but I prefer the Crossfire for several reasons. I was sorta surprised how hollow the S2000's interior felt. I expected nicer.
I've also stayed up with an STi.
It really boils down to the driver.
I did get my as* handed to me by a G35 coupe.
