I haven't posted in a while and I was sitting thinking I need help on a topic that has to do with cars and I need multiple opinions what do I do? Duh The Forum SO I'm Looking at getting another sports car... I have decided I don't want another crossfire and now that I've been looking for a couple months I've decided between two cars! The Camaro ss or the Mustang 5.0! Their power is about the sam... Hahahahaha just kidding I've narrowed my search down the the bmw 135i (if you haven't heard of this car it's pretty cool look it up) or a c63 AMG. The c63 is about 10000 more than the bmw but it's a v8 beast... As opposed to the bmw which is a turbocharged i6... So just looking for opinions!

 

A 1 series coupe with a 300+ hp N5x and 6 speed manual sounds like a real pocket rocket even if it does have four seats. Am a sucker for a DOHC 6 with DI.

 

Wow, two completely different cars! Before giving advice, are you going to keep which ever you decide on stock? …… I like the E63 AMG but that's just me. One of those BMW's, modified, showed up at the race track and went into limp mode. (overheating) It was a bullet for 3 minutes, more or less. If I bought an E63 I'd leave it stock. If I bought the 135 I'd modify it and regret it later …. and be called gay …. by haters …. or in the know …. I can't say. I've never driven either of them. All I have are impressions. Get the Mustang?

If money's no object, hands down the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat (starts @ $65,000)

But personally I'll take one of these please... AWD SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee w/ Stage 6 Precision 94mm Turbo (tuning on high boost is 1100whp+). Makes for one angry truck!

 

Well forgot to mention that I will not be getting new so the cla is out of price range... But I agree that the bmw would get hated on. I did some looking after posting this and thought about the mpg the c63 gets and am ruling it out now I can't deal with 12 city and knowing me it would be even worse than that... I really don't want to spend more than 30000

Have you considered the newer VW R32? If you elect to jump to the VW/Audi side of things, you have APR at your disposal... some SERIOUSLY quick stuff.

I read or maybe heard that the a$$ clowns that use to drive BMWs are now driving Audis... I spent a half hour or so behind the wheel of my uncles c63 what an animal! The mpg really isn't that bad he was averaging 20 ish. This is a 2012 though... When I was looking at 4 door cars I was stuck on the rs4, 2008 M3, or c63. Top gear UK has an episode comparing these three cars look it up on Netflix or finalgear.com. The 2008 M3 can be had at a good price and a 9000 rpm v8 sounds epic! After looking and test driving i bought an srt6... lol Good luck with your search!

 

If I were shopping in that price range, I would get a Porsche Cayman... midengine FTW

 

I have actually been looking at the Carrera S it looks like I fun car! And has a back seat

 

Definitely would be a fun car.. I drove the newest Carrera 4S and Cayman S around an autox track last year and had a blast.. but if it were my money I'd still go for the Cayman for the value and the midengine layout..

and lets be honest, that back seat on the 911 isn't made for humans

 

Go completely off track, get a Honda S2000 .....
