2005 Crossfire vs. 2001 audi tt quattro
I currently own a 2005 Crossfire. But I live in wisconsin and this recent winter has made me wonder if the crossfire is the right car to have, I am only 19 going to school and still live at home, so a second car isn't an option. I am considering a 2001 TT quattro roadster, also black like mine, the biggest diffrences are obviously design, but the all wheel drive vs rear wheel, cloth vs. leather, hard top vs. convertible, v6 natural vs 1.8 turbo, both cars are black, 6 speeds, sports cars, and have roughly the same 0-60's so what would u do in my situation
Seems to me that all wheel drive probably is better in snow than rear wheel drive, but you're going to take a bath on your Crossfire if you want to change. I park my roadster for the winter, because it scares me to drive it on slippery roads, but that's just me. Some people don't have as much of a problem with it. Some have put snow tires on them. I don't know if that helped a lot, maybe one of them may give their .02.
I said it in another post, the crossfire with snow tires is great. I live in chicago, and drove through that big snow storm we got about 8 inches. I would rather have a TT roadster though than my car. Its a better car. But you will lose about 6-7k on the crossfire.
