A factory AM/FM receiver in 1958? That would almost be enough to make up for the fact that it could not have had enough horsepower to get out of it's own way.

I love the foot long gearshift and the steering wheel from a yacht.
And who can deny the beauty of those white walls !

Do NOT let Tina see this. She would see it as an acceptable replacement for the buggy.

I will not drive it.

Mark. Just look at it. Sometimes it's not HOW FAST one gets where he's going, but just HOW he gets there.

If you had the coin, then am/fm radios were available in 1952 or so. This one could have been fitted later anyway.
As for power, engines were small in most cars in Europe at that time, gas being very costly. Many cars were taken back to the States by servicemen and this one may have been a one of them. Large steering wheels were needed when you had no power steering, or you needed to have arms like Popeye.
This looks like it could be a company car for Maria Klink Kosmetics.

Great response Dave, continue with why foot long shift levers were required .......

( I bet the brakes were not too good either, most likely drums all around )

Some of us would need three.

I would trade a few of my HP for a spare tire like that MB features.

About 50 miles after purchase.
