Default Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio

Fastest 4-door sedan in the world! 7 minutes, 32 seconds! See what it's like to drive right up to the edge of losing it!

Cool Re: Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio

I'm an Alfa fan, but skeptical of the Giulia success here due to German brands & Lexus dominance of the luxury import segment (although Volvo is making inroads), pricing of approx $40K for a base & $70K for the Quadrifoglio and the sketchy Fiat/AR dealer network.
The Quadrifoglio Super Bowl ads were OK, and I see the hardcore AR devotees stepping up initially, but sales trailing off from there. AR sold just over 500 here in 2016 and about 100 in January, so fingers crossed...

What a terrible harness, driver about came out of the seat a few times, bet with a good harness Sabine could have gotten under 7.

Never saw anyone go really fast sawing at the wheel like that. Lost it at least three times but recovered

Still peaking at 175 mph is not too shabby even for a 505 hp 6.

BTW I have a four door RWD DOHC V6 - my Jeep.

Should be interesting to see how the Quad sells in this country. Sales of previous Alfa models haven't been as stellar as Alfa would have liked. But a performance, 4-door sedan takes them into a different market segment.

Car & Drive in the March/2017 issue just ranked the Alfa Quad #1 in a comparison test against the Cadillac ATS-V, Mercedes-Benz AMG C63S and the BMW M3. Not sure I would put the Cadillac in this grouping, but somewhat impressive that the Alfa Quad out-performed M-B & BMW.
