The worst car you've EVER owned
As an older guy (71) I have owned close to 200 cars through the years. Out of all of them my 1976 Cheverolet Chevette was absolutely the worst. I bought it new and after 3 months I traded it in on a used car. On the first day of ownership the main pully fell of and it was down hill after that. In 3 months it was in the shop 7 times. I doubt there are any more on the road today. Probably not since 1986. I didn't buy another new car until 2002.
1980 Monte Carlo, catylitic converter caught on fire at 7700 miles. My wire pulled over because she smelled something burning. Burned the car to the ground and started a 1 acre grass fire. 20 new cars and trucks since, not one was a GM product.
On the other hand, I had a '78 Monte Carlo for 13 years and 160,000 miles, never in the shop. One of the best cars I ever owned, it had the Buick V6.
Worst car /truck I owned was an 06 Dodge Dakota, std. cab, 2-wd. Ran good but had continuous brake shuddering when stopping since new. Tried to Lemon Law it, but didn't have a lawyer at the time so I lost when the dealer brow beat me. Traded for a new 08 Ram at a different Stealership, 2wd, std. shift, regular cab...great truck!...No, the Vega was not the worst car I owned...LOL
