red or silver??

 

SILVER...

 

Much better than the red - IMO.

 

I'm really happy with my 2004 T6, it looks great, has a great interior and is snappy enough for my needs. My only gripe with it is the ride quality since mine has the factory 18's.

 

My mom has an '05 Volvo XC90 with the yamaha v8. It has alot of pep, pretty decent handling for an suv, VERY comfortable seat (what do you expect, its a volvo, my dads old c70 had the best seats I have ever sat in) plenty of space, good cargo room, optional third row, great car. The negative is that it has a pretty depressing interior, gloomy colors and plane jane gauges.

But overall I love the car, and they have huge discounts right now, can't imagine a much better suv in that price range.

I myself am in the market for a new daily driver, as you all know, and am choosing between a magnum rt, grand cherokee with a 4.7 v8 and 4x4, and a mazda cx7. I like the cx, but it can't tow much more than a jet ski, the magnum is going to be hard to lease for as much as I want, and I have already had a grand cherokee (should have kept it) and I think the new ones are kind of ugly. The only thing swaying me towards the grand cherokee and the magnum is the fact I should be able to get a fat discount as this will be my fourth chrysler vehicle (neon, grand cherokee, crossfire) so I think I can get the magnum for a decent price. I just want a vehicle that has a lot of utility, good driving dynamics, and enough space for my pit bulls. I know I got off topic, but any suggestions from you guys? Btw, now rav 4, no highlander, no crv, please. I am in desperate need of help.

Right now I am really leaning towards the cx7 because the only bad part is the fact it can't tow that much. It is cheap, has a great interior, awd, good power (244 hp turbo four cylinder) has won all its head to head comparos, decent gas mileage, good handling (.84 g's, 64 mph slalom), plenty of space for any future kids (no time soon hopefully) and the dogs.

Its going to be ANOTHER three year lease, because I am getting a bmw 135i (new twin turbo one series) in three years. Thanks, and sorry andrew!!

 

i believe silver is the better choice... (i still prefer white... but not available in the sport).

 

definitely silver, imho.

 

i think this is the suv & color of choice for my wife... pics show off how nice the color really is... described as... a 'wet' silver paint with lots of depth...

lots of debadging to do.

lease... 36 mo/12k per yr... msrp $ 54,622... negotiated $13,000 off sticker... down to $675 (including tax) per month. just 1st payment down... satisfied.

 

Not a bad deal at all. So, has it been finalized? Is it yours yet? If it is, Congrats, and very good choice IMO.

deal is locked but the volvo isn't mine just yet...

they want the crossfire in trade versus waiting 3 months until my lease expires... not too keen on that. they want a sale... today.

 

Ooh, not cool. If the XF is a lease, and I assume it would go back to the finance/lease co., why do they want it? How would that trade work?

 

they would just buy the lease out & sell it on their lot.

i'm just not ready to let it go yet.

today... i ordered an '08 volvo sport xc90 in electric silver... due to arrive at the beginning of october...

i think this will make a nice suv for my wife...

i'd take the silver over the red.

i like the bumper and i think it matches better then the red.

btw this is coming from a 17 yr old so you know you'll be hip if you get the silver. haha just kidding.

 

update ~ looks like i will be taking delivery of a new '08 suv (V8 sport) during last week of this month.

only 400 produced.
