Sheesh, all I was doing was pointing out that Aston makes a roadster version too. I can't afford one either and, to be honest, I didn't even pay $25,000 for my Crossfire Limited Roadster and it only had 32 miles on when I bought it.

I am, however, still allowed to dream. And having driven an AM Vantage I know damn well why I dream about them. And, yet, in my real world I, too, love my Crossfire.

I thought the same damn thing. How can you say that is a beautiful car and keep a straight face at the same time?

Any list of cars is going to be subjective, but they really missed on both lists.

Seriously, I hate skinny tires!!! While we are talking about subjective beauty... How is the Jaguar e-type considered the most beautiful car to so many people? It's a cool car, but its a little awkward to me.

Spiral, skinny tires were the norm back in 1961 when the XKE made its debut. Later models came with larger tires. Check out the Racing tires on this 1961 Indy car.

You're young, so it doesn't surprise me that you find the Jags styling awkward.
When I was your age, I didn't think the 1925 Model T was that hot either.

The Xfire is one of the prettiest cars ever designed. Case closed.

As with the Jaguar E-Type below, the Citroen DS was a landmark vehicle. Nothing about it was like anything that had come before, either stylistically or mechanically. Many found beauty in the unique shape, others hated it. Same can be said about the Crossfire. While I don't find the shape of the DS offensive (I actually like the thing) I don't know that it would be on my personal list of 50 most beautiful cars.

As for the little red hatchback - that isn't even pretty compared to other hatchbacks, let alone other cars in general. Maybe if this list of 50 Most Beautiful was actually broken into groups (most beautiful sedan, coupe, sports car, race car, station wagon, hatchback) it would.......oh, who am I kidding? That thing is just blah, even for a hatchback.

You have to keep in mind that when the E-Type debuted it was unlike anything else on the road. Even Ferraris didn't look this good back then - well, most Ferraris anyway, plus the Italian cars were almost 3 times the cost. The E-Type was stunning then and still is today.

As for skinny tires, even Formula 1 and Le Mans racers had skinny tires back in the '60s. You can't change history.
