Used to be millions of them. They rusted away. I bought a new 77. The last of em. Rust proofed with everything I knew. seven years late terminal rust. keep it out of the salt. gary

This one will not be driven in the winter. It came from Mexico. It's a survivor.
It's been in the family for 35 years.

Final restoration complete. the Bug was completely taken apart, fixed metal that needed repairs, painted and put back together, plus a (new to me) rebuilt engine.

Now THAT IS A CLASSIC! Truly a genius design for its time. Thanks for keeping it alive. Is there anyone over 50 years old that doesn't have fond memories of a Bug? Buddy Hackett, dune buggies, hippies, college.....the list goes on.
