0327121607a.jpgWe live about 5 miles away from the GoodYear Wingfoot Lake Air Dock where the GoodYear Blimp resides.
My Wife and I were coming home from the store when we noticed the Blimp doing all sorts of unusual low level aerobatics over the lake, so we pulled into the park to see what was going on.
Much to our surprise the blimp was making low level passes over its landing field where there was a portable basket ball hoop set up, then all of sudden somebody starts shooting basket ***** out of the gondola!
We watched them make about 7 or 8 passes about 40 to 50' over the hoop but they never even came close to making a basket. But it sure left a lasting impression.lol.

That would be neat to see. Were any of them even remotely close to making it, Mike?

 

Now that's something you don't get to see everyday
Maybe it was LeBron and that's as close to coming back to Cleveland as he wanted to get

Sort of puts a whole different spin on March Madness doesn't it.?

Or mayby they are just planning something much more sinister for the final 4 Playoffs on March 31st.
Something on the order of "Black Sunday" for the Superbowl.

Thanks for the update Rick. I'd love to know how many tries it took to make that one basket.
I drove past the Air Dock about 20 minutes later, and they were still at it.
If we didn't have groceries in the car, we probably would have stuck around long enough to see them finally make the shot.
I never get tired of watching the Blimp. (even though I use to work for B.F. Goodrich)
