Since my car decided to **** it's self right before the fall rally, I went to the triple tree fly-in in South Carolina. For one week in the fall, several hundred airplanes gather at the Triple Tree Aerodome. Here are a few pics.

Airplanes are boring. I took lessons in the 80's but after I soloed, it got boring: NO CLUTCH. )

 

Orville and Wilbur would be disappointed............

 

As a CFI with about 250 hours of instruction in gliders, it never got boring as students were always coming up with novel ways of killing the instructor.
