Default 3" cold air intake FS

I decied to sell my 3" polished intake, replaced the couplings with 3 strand black ones. The red elbows are 5 strand couplings. It is of the needswings style, works great, works better than the sl55 but i wanted the sl55 look so i got a sl55 and now selling my intake. price is 150.00 shipped in the Lower U.S. jim

Do you still have that intake for sale? If so I will take it! I'm too broke for needswings right now. If you did sell it, could let me know the parts you used so I can put one together myself.

sure here is the parts you need to make one.
2 ea 90 degree elbow couplings one 3x3x3 the other 3x9x2.5 cost 55.00 ea
2ea 3x3x3 couplings cost 12.00 ea
1ea 3" 90 degree with 14" leg alum pipe cost 40.00
1ea 3" S alum pipe cut in 1/2 cost 25.00
1ea filter cost 30.00
8ea 3" worm clamps 1.95 ea.
total cost to make it 245,00 selling for 150.00 and that is with free shipping. jim

How did you get the 3" tubes passed the radiator brace/wall?

first remove the the flapper restricion( big square plastic box) on each side then the 3" coupling will go through the radiator brace , you do have to fold it to get it started through but it fits. jim

OK, but it is folded? That's what I did but wanted to have the full 3" open benefit. I guess that's not possible.

try heating the tube with a heat gun mold it to the space then cool it down

the coupling is rubber with strands in it ,,you fold it on the end to make a u like so it will go through the hole it will then open itself up and form to the opening and be the 3" you are speaking of. jim

Hey Jim,

I got it today but there is no bracket for the horns? Did you send it with one? Also how do you remove the stock intake opening without breaking it?
