What version was currently on your ScanGauge? I have version 3.17 (no 'MB') and it doesn't interface with my 2004 N/A.

Wonder if the version number would actually say 3.17MB ?

Yes, you need to upgrade to the "MB" for Mercedes Benz version. They say they will upgrade you for free if you send it to them. Give em a call.
