Default WTB: stock (hollow) S/C pulley bolt

I was an idiot and snapped mine when replacing pulley with C3. I have a warranty and was looking to get a replacement from anyone that has upgraded and not using theirs, in case I have to go in for dealer work. Not sure what I should be offering for one, so offers anyone?

Thanks for steppin' in and helping TVT!

I'll post a picture later of what the local dealer did to my SC bolt. They threaded a smaller bolt into the hollow portion??? Guess they thought it was gonna leak!

this should be what your looking for

The center bolt is an M16 x 1.5 x 77 bolt. The MB part number is 112 031 00 71.
This shank length of this bolt is 77 mm long. As you all know, this bolt is designed to stretch slightly upon proper torquing.
Figure 4 shows that according to MB, the center bolt can be used if the shank length is less than 78 mm long.

Thanks for the update Krazy.
Let us know if you find a suitable replacement. I don't like the one they put on my coupe.

texas t you have the wrong bolt. i posted my mistake earlier. that part number is for the crank pulley NOT the s/c bolt. m/b has no part # for the d/c bolt. im going to take my bolt to fastenal when i can get aspare 10 minutes to remove the bolt

ok guys the news isnt good. i went to fastenal and masterbolt in my town without success. they have never seen the style of bolt and had no idea were to get them . i went to a machine shop and they can make the bolt from a grade 8 bolt measure and reduce the shank and drill the center hole but cant tell me if the torque will break at more than 15 ft/lbs until 1 is made and tried. minimum order 100 bolts! ballpark figure is about 6$ per bolt.
so for now i have not succeded in finding a replacement. sorry guys
my only other thought was maybe a m/b mechanic can find the bolts in their shop. i cant believe they dont have spare bolts .

Unhappy Re: WTB: stock (hollow) S/C pulley bolt

well thanks for trying... I understand the logic of the hollow bolt, and I guess the "only in kit" form is financially logical. It doesn't make it any easier the believe.

i suppose you could buy a box of grade 8 bolts and drill them out until you find the right diameter that breaks with excessive torque. time consuming but cheaper than a grand

I think I will stick with the solid bolt for the C# pulley. I just wanted a "stock" look for warranty work.

you could always drill the head for a fake hole. doubt if they would look much further
