why don't you guys let me buy it for as little as possible ,,I would have a lot of them made and sell to any member that wanted one ,,,better yet? why not get about 10 of us and each put in $100.00 offer him the $1,000.00 then get 30 or more of them made each person in the 10 gets his free and gets his 100.00 back by sell the others for say $200 ea then you have a lot of people happy. jim

I would too if not for the Po-po's. If I have to pay for a fix-it ticket and remove the tint, that's less money to spend on the Crossfire.

Are there limits for the rear windshield on the car in MD? I know in most states the rear window has almost no limits. I'd look into it, there may not be an issue like there is with the front windows/windshield.

EDIT: Just looked. So apparently 35% is the darkest you can go in the rear windows in maryland, but at least you could do 35% all the way around (except windshield, no tint allowed). In NJ there is no tint allowed on the front windows...

I just found this very same cargo cover available at Chrysler Parts
use part number 82208889 in the catalog search bar.
They claim it's available in different shades.
Their price is $271.04 U.S. plus shipping.
Even at this price I'm not sure that I want to pay that much money for something that is retractable material and would probably hold up as well as the fabric sun shades (magic shade) used to prtect the dash when I park the car out doors, that need replacing every couple of years.
I would love it if I could find an actual cargo shelf for my XF.

Someone should order to see if these are really available. Personally I wouldn't want one or else I'd take the plunge.

When I placed it in the basket it rang the item up.

Maybe they found some, but I am afraid the outcome will be the same as it was a few years ago. An email was received a few hours later saying that they were no longer available. As Henry Ford said they came in every color as long as it's charcoal. Good luck though.

At that time I had my local dealer do a search and he came up with six in North America, I had one and two of the others were damaged or did not exist. A local member managed to get one from the UK after that and then the supply dried up.

This is what you get if you are lucky. The hatch tint should save some solar damage to the fabric. They are well made and worth the money even if they do not save a window somewhere.

Post the selling price! lets see what this goes for.
I have one also new in box also. Depending on what yours sells for may perk my interest to sell also.

James, I'd be interested to know what his best offer was after he turned down mine.

If he sells it on Ebay for 400, selling fees will likely cost approx. $ 60
