You know my friend, the Code 3 gives you a little more power, and I mean a little. I like it because it looks stock and I don't have to pull it off if I go to the dealer, being in warranty and all. If you really want to feel a difference go with a crank pulley. There are numerous posts that discuss this option and the pitfalls involved. The benefits are obvious, a lot more power. Remember, read all the posts so you don't mangle your engine or engine bay.

Ok....so what you are saying is ---- you have a 190E that you have spent a ton of money on but you still lose every race. You know your way around an engine and this why the Crossfire is your choice of car to modify??

I have a C32 as a daily. And I love mercies. The 16v is the equivalent to the e30 M3 so its a very rare classic super sedan and I collect them so why not mod them. The response was to the "dont mangle the engine" so i stated I know cars. You gotta be **** for what reason? Was tryin to point out I know what I want. Code 3 pulley over a larger crank pulley. Know the difference and what I'm looking for. But enjoy your crossfire till your warranty runs out, be scared of popping the hood yourself, buy another car and join another forum

Do you know a 185mm pulley requires a special idler pulley? Did you know some of the 181mm's don't line up properly? I was trying to help you, you hot headed jerk. Grow or go, pal. That crappy attitude is going to bring you a world of nasty blow back on this forum.

You also should spend less time under the hood and more time in remedial English courses.

Well, I'm glad you straightened that out. I wouldn't want to think you were just ignorant.

P.S. I realize now that you know everything there is to know about modding an engine and that the vast experience of the forum members is of no use to you. However, you might want to click on the link below to realize the engine bay comment was not a put down. Flying idler pulleys have caused some damage to engine bays.

This has gone from an innocent post requesting a part to the most pointless thread in recent history. Congrats Crossfire Forums!

Haha the reason I was so rude was because some drunk idiot backed up into my car. I was beyond pissed. Was parked at the end of a driveway and told everyone "if you need to get out anyone, I'm blocking the driveway so I'll move" and dumbass backs down a driveway 100 ft never looking behind him once and hit my car. Little paint cracking but making him pay to repaint the bumper. Time for euro impact strips!

I'd be damned pissed too. I'm not quite sure what Euro impact strips are, but I can make a pretty good guess. I use a product called door defenders. They probably wouldn't have helped you in your situation but they are great in tight parking spaces. Good luck with the re-paint.
