One more for you....you and me both might be in luck finding a cheaper replacement part:

Look at the pick of the Bosch unit. It has the MB star on top and the A.....part number, which I thought was MB at the very bottom.
Just a thought. Good luck.

I would like to have a used or new siren module (chirping) 5124443AA, or the updated (used) 5124443AB. The first one (as many know) was extremely inexpensive, that new one is way too high for my pockets and I would prefer an old new or used one or a new one that was removed that someone may have sitting around after they traded in and reswapped back to the old original module that doesn't chirp. Anyone out there? Anyone wreck theirs and know where the car is being parted out at? Thanks!
Was there a MB part number that chirped for our cars? I know many MB parts fit right in, and are much less expensive, but I do not have the ability to cross-reference a chirping siren number for the MB line that would pop right in to our XF's. Thanks for any input!

I can understand you not wanting that cheap fix as I would not want it either, it looks to messy for me.
