GraphiteGhost,
Isnt the MB part number A171 820 25 26
from post:
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...lved-read.html

Valk listed some Crossfire/MB part numbers here:
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...t-numbers.html

One more for you....you and me both might be in luck finding a cheaper replacement part:
http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/sh...t=75051&page=2

Look at the pick of the Bosch unit. It has the MB star on top and the A.....part number, which I thought was MB at the very bottom.

Just a thought. Good luck.

Cheers,
KrzyFast

Anyone out there? Anyone wreck theirs and know where the car is being parted out at? Thanks!

Was there a MB part number that chirped for our cars? I know many MB parts fit right in, and are much less expensive, but I do not have the ability to cross-reference a chirping siren number for the MB line that would pop right in to our XF's. Thanks for any input!

It occurred to me that if you had two sirens wired into the same circuit then the two of them may draw more current than the circuit could take. If they are fused with a low amperage fuse I guess you could increase the fuse capacity.
But I cannot figure out why you would want two anyway. One siren alone makes an ungodly noise two would do brain damage in no time flat.
I can understand you not wanting that cheap fix as I would not want it either, it looks to messy for me.
