Default rear big brakes f/s

i have a set of cl55 rear calipers for sale. by adding a small sleeve into the caliper mounts (12mm od x 10mm id x 19mm tall) these are a bolt on massive upgrade brake setup. trim the dust shields and add a set of slk55 330mm rotors and they work perfectly with the c32 or slk55 front calipers. they retail for 380$ each (760$ for both )

500$ plus shipping. i have the same setup on my car and its flawless the sleeves cost me 50$ from a machine shop

Those would match your old 32 setup on my car very well, and I want them, but not until at least next season...

Good luck with the sale, bump for an honest seller with a good price...

john yu will need to upgrade the fronts to run these as you currently have a 2 piston fixed side caliper and using the 4 piston rears will likely throw the brake bias off. hunt some clk or c class 4 piston fronts and your golden

You are right, but many things I will do before that gets addressed. I spent 2+ hours on the track and had no problems with the 32 brakes, worked like champs, but some extra pistons and surface area for cooling would be nice...

Good point, but at the moment, my basement finishing is getting most of my love, I am a year back from where I wanted to be with the car and the basement due to the wreck and ensueing bullshit.

These are extremely rare and hard to find. Anyone who has upgraded the front really need these. This is a great price. If you have ever thought of upgradng your brakes you will be sorry if you don't jump on these.

I haven't even missed out, and I'm already kicking myself LOL...

Thing is, I just don't know what the balance would be with C32 fronts and these monsters in the back. If I had some 6-pot fronts lying around, I'd MAKE these fit the budget. I'd be Steve's lawn boy for a year... something LOL.

Also, no other option for rotors other than OEM SLK55 ($$$)

Oh, that and I have to figure out how much that last thunderstorm will end up costing me.

Too many mods, too little $$$

Bump for a great seller.

I have the C32 set up in the front and AMG four pots on the back. IT IS AWESOME! One thing I discovered when I had only the C32 up front was that I was getting heat checking on the rear rotors. The rears were coming into play before the front and over heating the rear. I didn't feel this in the brake balance becasue the rears on a n/a are worthless. Once I put the SLK55 rotor and four pots on the back the entire car was better and stopped much better. It seemed like having the rears correct allowed the fronts to really work better. You do not need six pots to run these. The C32 caliper has larger pistons so the total surface area of the pistons are the same. You do need to upgrade your front to use these. With these you can run run the dragon all day without giving your brakes a thought while you inhale the fumes from the Crossfires running stock brakes.

I have an extra set of precision inserts for these calipers but would have to find them. I was going to use them on my AMG S65 Calipers but end up having to make a custom mounting bracket. I was really looking for these calipers and could not find a set.

I'll buy them if they're for sale. Steve doesn't need them, he's selling the calipers.

What do you think of using them with my Stoptech BBK? I'm tempted to make an offer myself so you other interested people better move fast before I figure out my final cost!

what size are your fronts les? if they are 340mm or bigger 4 or 6 piston should work just fine.
