Cool FOR SALE: Rare Becker Monza!!

If you're looking to upgrade your o.e.m. radio but still want that factory look then look no farther then the Becker Monza 7882.

It is complete plug and play! Everything works and comes with everything you need to hook up and go (original box, manuals, code card, antenna adapters, etc.)... the only thing you'll have to do is swap the face plates from black to silver if you so desire (I will provide the steps on how to do the swap).

There are a few links on here that go step by step on how to do just about everything with this radio.

Just bought in Aug for $387 straight from Berlin.
SOLD

I believe model 7886 would be the closest color... or you could swap the leds in this one. You can change he color of everything except the display I believe.

Here's a link with some info:

The 7886 is perfect, I searched Google for some actual nighttime photos and it's the perfect match for Mercedes-Benz amber... Thank you!

I never did change my faceplate, I just polished up the old one. I had forgotten about my question that inspired this answer.

It plays mp3 ...
There a a few different ways to go about adding an input line.
The one I'd recommend is to buy the Becker audio cable... I belie it has 2 inputs (headphones and iPod).
I'll post up a pic when I get home. It looks almost the same as the infinity.

Well here are the pics of the rear of both the o.e.m. Infinity and the Becker. The Becker plugs right into the Crossfire with the exception of an antenna adapter (which comes with it). The sound is definitely an improvement over our factory radio.

do me a favor and remove the yellow plug so i can see if theres a fiber optic plug in never mind thought the top was the becker. doesnt look like the plug will work on my as my plug has vertical male ends and the becker has horizontal male ends.

There are to plugs that appear to be fiber optic... I'll see if I can get a pick (you know that's the o.e.m. Infinity right?).

Yours plugs in the top section? On the Crossfire they plug into the two bottom sections.
The top section is horizontal but the bottom two are vertical.

Dave, I swapped the face plates between my spare Nav unit (on the left in the pic) and my non Nav. The unit on the right of the pic. is the correct Nav face plate on my other Nav unit. The only difference is the "PUSH ON" text above the left ****. The blank center "button" posed a challenge to remove, but as you can see I finally figured it out. Sorry to hi-jack the thread.

I also installed this unit. There are adaptors for iPhone (or smart phone) and bluetooth phone integration.

I purchased the 7885 (blue) unit and swapped out the blue LED's with the green LED's from my OEM unit.

It's a true 4 channel unit (you need to add pins and wires to the OEM socket for the rear channels), with CD Change input (or Phone/ipod/etc adapter)

It also has 4 Channel preamp output (need harness - see pic) and one Sub output with sub control built into the unit control.

(Reposted some pics here for easy viewing)

brian am i reading your post correctly, if i donrt care about the tel aid that came with my 32 (car fone) and i only use the large double plug at the bottom this would work with my bose amp oem setup? i would love to have this but just dont understand the diagrams very well. i could post a pic of the back of my oem unit if it would help
