OK, splain it to me, Lucy. Just exactly WHAT are performance pulleys for an N/A ?????????

Belt on N/A drives PS pump, A/C compressor, alternator and water pump.
Which one of these provides performance by being driven overspeed / underspeed ?

Wait, wait, wait, if the battery is fully charged, why couldn't we engineer the alternator to be a motor and provide a few seconds
of KERS like the F1 cars ..... :-)

Imma gonna git me a JATO pack, and install it right under and in between the exhaust tips. Then, when I 'feel the need', I'll fire that ***** up!

And kiss my a$$ goodbye!

You can underdrive the AC pump, water pump etc. It doesnt add crank hp, just simply frees up RWHP. I am considering researching options for this..... It is unwise in my opinion to under or overdrive the alternator though. ESPECIALLY with a HQ sound system. The others dont matter too much, unless you want the same PS and AC at idle.

I believe what the op is looking for are "under drive" pulleys. They are made by companies such a March Performance and ASP. To my knowledge, neither made such pulleys for the Crossfire.
The idea behind these pullys is to turn the accessories slower(alternator,a/c compressor..etc)slower thereby freeing up lost horsepower. In a nutshell so to speak.

Def a good motto to go by. Heard of many horror stories using anything less than PP with a CC...

Or I can send a W/U or US postal money order also. It's all good to me. I don't use PayPal, had a retract from some1 on another site, gaming related and lost several hundred dollars.

If someone will look at Paul Crossfire site, they will see that he used underdrive pulleys and had a gain of around 13 hp I believe?? He, actually, said that it was one of the best mods he had done too! I have looked into them too, but the company that made them for our N/A cars, is no longer around. I have been looking though. Let me know if you find some place and I will do the same for you. You have to excuse some in here. They "spout off" sometimes with little or no knowledge of what they are talking about, rather than knowing they don't know, and not saying anything. I have seen it in just the short time that I have been here, but don't let it get you down. There are others on here that know their stuff and, overall, people here will help you out with any questions you may have. Good luck!
