Freaking thing isn't even "NEW", as listed. You can see the stains on the cutter, there's no plastic wraps on anything, and the lighter looks like it has been filled one or three times.

I bet it sells for for north of $600. It's the first one I've seen for sale with the box and for some, that makes it worth considerably more. I know we're gonna see these for several thousand dollars some day so while $800 sounds like a lot now, it's gonna be looked back at one day as getting it for a song.

In that case, it should include the Hannibal mask

After telling him it was obviously used, and offering to send him a pic of a never used humidor set for comparison, he got angry with me. After I told him the price was a bit far fetched and he was misrepresenting his product, he replied with this.

Congratulations! And just who establishes fair market value, you? Send what you want to ebay. Keep your rude comments to yourself when viewing peoples auctions. I could careless what the Crossfire community thinks or does. You are upset because you consider yourself a collector and can not rip off an unsuspecting seller. Do you really think that every Crossfire ownwer is a mamber of your silly club? Get a life bubba, you need to find a real job instead of surfing ebay for your collection. In honor of your I will raise the buy it now price to $900. TLP

Nostyle would be a more appropriate screen name. Good luck with your sale, buddy. Also of note should be the fact that I never made an offer on the item, so how was I about to rip him off?

I'm going to take a shot at what is his MO....
From looking at his other "auction" stuff, my guess is this person is possibly a "Pawn Shop" owner, with a lot of inventory that he needs to cash out on. Who else would have such an eclectric collection of higher priced "stuff". He definitely is not a "people person", and has developed this belligerent trait dealing with some of the people that may come into his establishment.
I realize that not all Pawn brokers deal with low class clientele and are respected business people, but I'd guess that a lot of them do, and will low-ball their purchases as much as possible, and ripoff people if they can. Sorry .... just sayin

Really put me down.. guess being late I really should try to pay more attention to my spelling.. My bad..

Mr Miata, Really, do you actually own a Miata? I don't really care what any of you crossfire club clowns do nor do I care what you think. The fact of the matter is that your members would buy it regardless of your little group emails if the price were right. You are the same as anyone else; if it is cheap enough you will buy it. So, get a job, and find something better to do with your time. By the way, next time you write an email, learn how to spell, it is "money's worth" not "monies worth".

In his response to me, he called me a "mamber" of some silly club. Dumb@$$. I will probably get pissed if someone gets suckered by this guy. Then I'll forget when I look at mine.

Just for the heck of it, I asked him a couple of questions regarding his relisted auction. I need to paraphrase what I asked, and his response ....
"Are you sure that the humidor is new and unused? Do you have the original phamphlets and the top half of the styrofoam packing insert?"
He responded....
"Please see new photos. My apologies, the old listing showed pics from a previous auction that sold a used humidor. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Kindest regards"

Draw your own conclusions .......

Well it was nice of Chrysler to go ahead and scratch up the lighter so you wouldn't feel bad about doing it.

Besides the fact you have to be nuts to pay so much for this thing, the photo's tell a story. The 8th picture, middle top a chip in the wood AND it looks like some water damage in the wood at both hinges. The 7th photo, the lighter is quite scratched up, and the cutter looks like it was used some. The 6th photo, that hinge/screen area looks like it has some crud like calcium from water on it dried up. If someone was crazy enough to actually bid on this thing I hope he knows what a snad complaint with ebay is. Thats my $0.02 worth (and I can count the cheap cigars I smoked on my two hands in 40 years of life!).
