Default Needswings Dual Intake - Add-on Driver's side pipe and Y

For sale are all the parts (except maybe a clamp) needed to convert your Needswings single into a dual intake.

If memory serves, the difference in cost between the dual and single is around $400, so I'd like to get $325 plus shipping OBO.

Yes, but you'll need a 90 degree elbow in place of the Y. Also, you will need to put a small filter on the crank case instead of connecting it to the intake. That's the way I used to run my SRT8.

There's a boss on the valve cover that connects to a hose. That hose connects to a boss on the passenger side intake pipe.

Here's what it looked like on my old Jeep. See the small filter in the middle? Autoparts stores sell them for around $10.

You don't need to connect the two, so it's an alternative. Here's a better photo.

Without the filter, there would be hose running to the intake.

Just buy it and I can help you install it. You really should have a NeedsWings SCAI if you're going to buy this, or it will be more trouble than it's worth to convert it to the driver's side. And the logo would be out of sight. And I wish I could afford it.....

Why would you install it on the passenger side???? Just install it on the driver's side (where it belongs) and call it a day.

It would just be a single on the driver's side instead of the usual passenger's side.

Does it really matter what side it goes on?

Yes, it's made for the driver's side and that's the only place you'd be able to install it. Later on if you bought a single, you would install the single on the passenger side along with the Y pipe to have a dual intake.

I have an SRT 6 and have been thinking about the needswings catch can or an alternative. I recently unhooked the hose that goes between the drivers side rocker box and the stock cold air intake. i plugged that hose directly into a small filter i bought at WalMart for under $8.00. The little filter is bath tub shaped, the hose plugs right in. It is for a Techumci 6.5 horse lawn mower engine. I plugged the hole in the intake pipe (right side of the restrictive Y pipe) with a wine bottle cork. This is temporary. I want to see how dirty/oily the little filter will get over an oil change period. I realize the wear and tear on an engine and how hard you use it coontribute to the crank case blow by. Mine is still pretty fresh and not punished all that hard.
