the emblems are decals and designed by a process called "thermal imaging"...transferred onto an outdoor adhesive and pliable vinyl (exterior signage material). oracal & avery materials are being used. these are an overlay and allow one to retain the original chrysler dome shape. they can be removed at anytime... come trade in, lease return, etc. and the chrysler emblem beneath will retain its prior condition.

for over 3 years...i had taken my crossfire through an automatic car wash or diy .25 car wash on a weekly basis... and never an issue with the emblems.

the manufacture states, they will last at least 5 years. the decals on the car are holding up great... the only decal that wears is the key fob due to heavy use in & out of your pocket.
